More fun for Baseball Buffs

Few of us are old enough to remember baseball before the days of free agency and multi-million dollar contracts. Find out what the game was like back then with “So You Want To Be a Major Leaguer,” the memoir of minor-league player Cy Block’s attempts to break into the bigs during the 1930s & 40s. It’s a whole different world!
Listen to So You Want To Be a Major Leaguer on ListentoGenius.com: http://listentogenius.com/author.php/359/363 (where you can also hear Babe Ruth’s Book of Baseball) — or read it on http://cyblockbaseball.com/page.php/24.

Baseball Hall of Fame

For some of us, it hardly seems like spring without baseball! But baseball fans can get a little dose of it with a virtual visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, which offers online exhibits of photos, letters, and more. The Museum’s Education Department is offering free Virtual Field Trips, Curator Spotlights and Voices of the Game programs through live online events. Register to participate via Zoom in these free virtual programs by visiting the Museum’s Events page. Archived videos of past programs can be viewed on the Hall of Fame’s YouTube page.
P.S. There are kids’ activity downloads, too!
